Wolfgang Jockusch is the founder and CEO of BAMIK GmbH in Berlin and Diversity Webinars in Palo Alto, California. Since 2007, he has worked as a trainer, consultant and university lecturer in the areas of intercultural management, as well as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and adult education. He supports organizations worldwide in intercultural change processes and leadership development. His focus is on promoting diversity in the workplace and developing educational strategies for DEI. He is also the lead trainer for BAMIK's train-the-trainer programs in Berlin and Dubai and editor-in-chief of the Diversity Webinars e-learning platform.
Wolfgang Jockusch has signed the professional code of ethics of the German association for ethics in adult education (Forum Werteorientierung in der Weiterbildung).
As a certified trainer (BDVT, DVWO) and certified quality management specialist (DVWO), he supports companies and public institutions of all sizes not only in conducting trainings, but also in developing educational concepts, learning games and strategy development. His work focuses on intercultural cooperation, leadership development and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). He has also published several articles, books and videos on these topics.
In 2010, Wolfgang developed BAMIK's Intercultural Train-the-Trainer program and has trained numerous trainers and consultants in intercultural and diversity training. The Intercultural Train-the-Trainer and Diversity Train-the-Trainer courses are currently offered in Germany and Dubai. As a leading developer of e-learning concepts in the field of DEI, Wolfgang also leads a German-Indian team.
Wolfgang has held several teaching positions at the Technical University of Nuremberg and other German universities, in both German and English. His training style is entertaining and informative, and addresses the needs of both employees and managers at various levels of complexity.
Before founding BAMIK, Wolfgang studied theology and philosophy of religion in Germany and the USA. He has served as a pastor and director of adult education in the United States, the Bahamas, and Germany. He is also currently a reserve officer in the German Air Force and a former officer in NATO missions in Kosovo and Afghanistan. Through these assignments, he developed his familiarity with the structures of international public organizations and has a deep knowledge of administration and government. He has extensive experience in helping organizations overcome the challenges of intercultural communication in such contexts.
