BAMIK is a course provider and consultancy for global leadership development, intercultural management, diversity & inclusion, and train-the-trainer programs. Our certified trainers and experts are available worldwide and speak 15 languages.

BAMIK was founded in 2009 by Wolfgang Jockusch. After many years of intercultural project management and consulting in Afghanistan, Albania, the Bahamas, Kosovo, and the United States, he created a platform to bring together practical experience with academically sound knowledge and methodology. Improving and promoting the quality and sustainability of educational measures in the areas of intercultural management and diversity & inclusion has been one of BAMIK's most important goals ever since.

Today, we are a global network of trainers, consultants, authors and experts for a variety of topics in the fields of global leadership development, inter- / cross-cultural communication, diversity & inclusion, and international adult education. This global network enables us to provide our clients with country-specific expertise in their cross-cultural projects.

Our customers include companies of all sizes, associations, universities, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.In addition, many freelance trainers and other adult educators have participated in our certified Train-the-Trainer Course. We are proud to be a certified training provider in accordance with the strict guidelines of the German DVWO association. All our trainers are certified and follow clear quality management standards and compliance rules.

What does the abbreviation BAMIK stand for?

BAMIK is the German abbreviation for Berliner Akademie für Mediation und Interkulturelle Kommunikation (Berlin Academy for Mediation and Intercultural Communication).

B	Berlin is our hometown. Even though we operate globally by now, we feel a deep connection to this city where our main office is located. Many programs are conducted from here.
A	We are an academy, conducting train-the-trainer courses and certification of trainers. Our own publications contribute to the academic debate. We also maintain close relationships with leading universities worldwide.
M	Mediation was supposed to become a separate pillar within BAMIK, but the course of time took our business development in another direction. Nevertheless, many of our training programs contribute to the resolution of intercultural conflicts.
I K	Intercultural communication has always been our special area of expertise. We support the dialog across cultures and step up for cultural diversity.
