Countries and Cultures
In all our trainings, we use state-of-the-art research and methodology. While drawing on the large selection of cultural dimensions that are currently available (Hofstede, Trompenaars, GLOBE, and others), we also avoid the stereotyping patterns that are so often found in cross-cultural comparison.
We „zoom“ into the context for which the training is designed. If, for example, a training is about China, it will not be sufficient to make general comparisons between the country of origin and China. Instead, we look at the context given by the region (e.g. Shanghai), the company’s sector (e.g. car manufacturing) and the tasks that are ahead.
At the end of the training, our participants will be able to understand and appreciate the cultural differences and have developed strategies to cope with the more difficult ones.
Training formats can range from a short half-day impulse to larger programs of several days. We offer in-company trainings for which our trainers are generally available worldwide as well as the development of customized material for distance learning.
