Leadership Training: Valuing Difference
Differences enrich teams but can also pose challenges. This training supports leaders in building inclusive environments and leveraging diversity effectively.
Diversity offers many benefits, yet working with difference can be challenging. This training is designed for leaders at the supervisory level who want to recognise and leverage differences within their teams. Participants reflect on their own leadership behaviour with regard to inclusion and develop practical techniques to actively foster an inclusive work environment.
Diverse workplaces have become the norm in many organisations. However, not all workplaces succeed in turning diversity into inclusion. The benefits of inclusion are wide-ranging—from more satisfied and secure employees to higher-quality collaboration and increased creativity.
Leaders at the supervisory level play a crucial role in shaping an inclusive work environment. Their day-to-day leadership determines whether team members feel heard, valued, and supported. At the same time, leaders aiming for further career progression are expected to demonstrate an understanding of Diversity & Inclusion and the ability to actively promote inclusive practices.
Through this course, participants develop the skills needed to assess their own leadership practices and adapt them where necessary. They learn how to foster inclusion within their teams, respond to different needs, and implement concrete measures to strengthen Diversity & Inclusion in their area of responsibility. The goal is to create an environment that enables all team members to perform at their best.
